- 2 Chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp Shawarma spice mix
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Vegetables of choice (lettuce, tomatoes, onions)
- Homemade Shawarma Sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the crepe batter and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, pour in a ladle of batter, and swirl to form a circle. Cook until edges lift and crepe is golden brown.
- Season the chicken breasts with shawarma spice mix, salt, and pepper. Grill or sauté until cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
- Whisk together yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and additional shawarma spices for the sauce.
- Assemble by placing cooked chicken, chopped vegetables, and shawarma sauce on each crepe. Roll them up tightly and serve warm.
Notes
Make the crepe batter a day in advance for easier preparation. Experiment with vegetable fillings and spice variations as desired.
