Description

A delightful combination of soft crepes filled with perfectly spiced chicken, fresh vegetables, and creamy shawarma sauce, inspired by Middle Eastern cuisine.


Ingredients

  • Crepes
  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Shawarma spice mix
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Vegetables of choice (lettuce, tomatoes, onions)
  • Homemade Shawarma Sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crepe batter and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat, pour in a ladle of batter, and swirl to form a circle. Cook until edges lift and crepe is golden brown.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with shawarma spice mix, salt, and pepper. Grill or sauté until cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Whisk together yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and additional shawarma spices for the sauce.
  5. Assemble by placing cooked chicken, chopped vegetables, and shawarma sauce on each crepe. Roll them up tightly and serve warm.

Notes

Make the crepe batter a day in advance for easier preparation. Experiment with vegetable fillings and spice variations as desired.
