Description

A delightful fusion twist on the classic bread roll, filled with spicy Schezwan vegetables, perfect for appetizers or snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 rotis
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, cabbage)
  • 2 tablespoons Schezwan sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped spring onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by heating the oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Toss in your mixed vegetables. Stir-fry them for 2-3 minutes until they’re tender yet still crunchy.
  3. Add the Schezwan sauce and a pinch of salt. Mix well to ensure the vegetables are fully coated.
  4. Remove the pan from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  5. Place the stir-fried veggies onto one roti. Roll it up tightly, securing it with a toothpick if needed.
  6. Garnish with chopped spring onions, then serve hot for the ultimate enjoyment.

Notes

Experiment with different vegetables or proteins for a heartier roll. Pair with mint chutney or cilantro dip for dipping.
