Description

A creamy, smoky ranch dipping sauce with tangy flavor and adjustable heat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk ranch seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon milk or buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Measure all ingredients into a medium bowl.
  2. Whisk mayonnaise and sour cream until completely smooth.
  3. Stir in ranch seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne.
  4. Add lemon juice and milk; whisk until glossy and slowly flowing.
  5. Taste and add salt only if needed.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Whisk before serving; add milk one teaspoon at a time if too thick.

Notes

Use fresh spices for the strongest smoky, herby flavor.
Add cayenne gradually because the heat increases after chilling.
Store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
