Description
An easy, delicious take on lasagna, made with layers of ground beef, pasta sauce, and cheese, all cooked in a crockpot for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce
- 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Cook the beef: In a skillet, heat the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Don’t forget to drain any excess fat.
- Add sauce and season: Stir in the pasta sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes to build flavor.
- Layer in the crockpot: Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of a greased slow cooker.
- Add ravioli: Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
- Repeat with sauce and cheese: Top with half of the remaining meat sauce and half of each type of cheese.
- Complete layers: Repeat the layers, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
- Cook to perfection: Cover and cook on low for 240-300 minutes or until everything is heated through and the cheese is beautifully melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a twist, use different types of ravioli or add vegetables between layers. Great with crusty garlic bread or a fresh salad.
