Description

Delightful strawberry-filled rolls with creamy cream cheese, perfect for romantic occasions or cozy brunches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 loaf of bread (brioche or Italian works great)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Cinnamon sugar (optional, for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Take a slice of bread and spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on one side.
  3. Place a few slices of strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
  4. Starting from one end, carefully roll the bread slice tightly to enclose the filling and strawberries.
  5. Dip each rolled piece into the melted butter, making sure it’s well-coated, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if you desire.
  6. Arrange the rolls in a baking dish and place them in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C). Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they’re golden brown.
  7. Once baked, remove from the oven and enjoy them warm.

Notes

Serve dusted with powdered sugar or drizzled with chocolate. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
