Description

A delightful and quick meal featuring tender chicken, satisfying noodles, and a sticky garlic sauce that’s perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 200g noodles (egg or rice noodles)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Mix the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and ginger in a small bowl.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken, stirring to coat all pieces.
  6. Let the sauce simmer for a couple of minutes until it thickens, creating a sticky texture.
  7. Stir in the cooked noodles until well combined.
  8. Drizzle with sesame oil, stir, and serve hot garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. You can freeze cooked noodles and chicken for up to 2 months.
