Description

A creamy and savory chicken dish that’s easy to prepare and perfect for any weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on your chicken breasts.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet. Cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the sour cream and onion soup mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the sour cream mixture over the chicken in the skillet, ensuring each piece is covered.
  6. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Be careful not to overcook the chicken; the internal temperature should reach 165°F. Can substitute Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
