- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the puff pastry sheet.
- Cut the pastry into squares, about 4 inches each.
- In the center of each square, place a teaspoon of cream cheese followed by a teaspoon of strawberry jam.
- Fold the corners of the pastry squares toward the center and pinch them to seal.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a lovely glaze.
- Arrange the danishes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar if desired.
