Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- Optional Toppings: mini pepperoni, olives, bell peppers, green onions, mushrooms
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and diced onion over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Drain excess grease.
- Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for a few minutes.
- Spread the beef mixture in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over the beef.
- Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the cheese and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until tots are golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Add optional toppings and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Feel free to customize with your favorite pizza toppings. Leftovers can be frozen for up to 3 months.
