- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 package Oreo cookies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Take a small amount of dough and flatten it in your hand; place an Oreo in the center and wrap the dough around the cookie until fully covered.
- Place the stuffed cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze them in a freezer-safe bag.
