Description

Warm, gooey cookies stuffed with Oreos and melting chocolate chips – a delightful treat for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 package Oreo cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Take a small amount of dough and flatten it in your hand; place an Oreo in the center and wrap the dough around the cookie until fully covered.
  7. Place the stuffed cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack before serving.
