- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 package Oreo cookies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the buttery mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- To assemble the cookies, scoop a tablespoon of cookie dough, place an Oreo in the center, and top with another tablespoon of dough, sealing the edges tightly.
- Place the filled cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
