Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 package Oreo cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the buttery mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. To assemble the cookies, scoop a tablespoon of cookie dough, place an Oreo in the center, and top with another tablespoon of dough, sealing the edges tightly.
  7. Place the filled cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
