Ingredients

- Chicken thighs or breasts
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- ¼ cup Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Ginger (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season your chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, until it’s browned and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger if using.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and pour in the honey garlic mixture.
- Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the pan and coat it well in the sauce.
- Garnish with green onions before serving warm.
Notes
Great served over jasmine rice or quinoa. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
