Description

A quick and comforting dish featuring tender chicken coated in a sticky, savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • Chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season your chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, until it’s browned and cooked through.
  4. In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger if using.
  5. Remove the chicken from the pan and pour in the honey garlic mixture.
  6. Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Return the chicken to the pan and coat it well in the sauce.
  8. Garnish with green onions before serving warm.

Notes

Great served over jasmine rice or quinoa. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
