Description
A warm, cheesy burrito filled with seasoned beef, nacho cheese, and a blend of sauces, all wrapped in a toasty flour tortilla.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Once browned, drain any excess grease. Add the taco seasoning along with 1/4 cup of water. Stir and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Heat your tortillas in a dry skillet for 30 seconds on each side or pop them in the microwave for a few seconds to keep them soft and flexible.
- Lay a tortilla flat and layer it with a scoop of rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, and sour cream. Top with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar and mozzarella.
- In a clean skillet, sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese. Place the burrito seam-side down and cook until the cheese melts and forms a crispy crust, about 3-4 minutes. Flip it carefully and repeat on the other side.
Notes
Feel free to swap proteins or cheeses based on your preferences. For a vegetarian option, use black beans or grilled vegetables.
