Description

Delicious mini sandwiches filled with savory roast beef, caramelized onions, and melted Swiss cheese, served with warm au jus for dipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 Slider Buns
  • 1 pound Roast Beef, deli-sliced
  • 2 Onions, sliced
  • 1 cup Swiss Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Au Jus
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium pan, melt some butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions, stirring occasionally, until they turn golden and caramelized—about 10-15 minutes.
  3. While the onions are cooking, slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  4. Layer generous portions of roast beef over the bottom buns, followed by the caramelized onions and Swiss cheese.
  5. Place the top halves of the slider buns on the sandwich assembly.
  6. Melt a bit more butter and brush it over the tops of the buns. Sprinkle garlic powder and onion powder generously.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melty.
  8. Serve warm with au jus for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to customize with different cheeses or add spicy condiments for an extra kick.
