- 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 & 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup Valentine’s Day M&M’s
- 7 Oreo cookies (roughly chopped, regular stuffed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (about 175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the slightly softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and well-combined.
- Sprinkle the flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt over the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the Valentine’s Day M&M’s and the chopped Oreos.
- Scoop out the cookie dough into 10 equal mounds on the prepared baking sheet using a large cookie scoop.
- Bake for 13 minutes until slightly underdone; they will firm up as they cool.
- Immediately after removing from the oven, swirl the cookies into a perfect round shape using a larger cookie cutter.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack.
Notes
Best enjoyed warm with a glass of milk. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
