Description

Delightful cookies featuring a mix of creamy Oreos and colorful M&M’s, perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 & 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup Valentine’s Day M&M’s
  • 7 Oreo cookies (roughly chopped, regular stuffed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (about 175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the slightly softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and well-combined.
  4. Sprinkle the flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt over the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the Valentine’s Day M&M’s and the chopped Oreos.
  6. Scoop out the cookie dough into 10 equal mounds on the prepared baking sheet using a large cookie scoop.
  7. Bake for 13 minutes until slightly underdone; they will firm up as they cool.
  8. Immediately after removing from the oven, swirl the cookies into a perfect round shape using a larger cookie cutter.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm with a glass of milk. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
