Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of yams (sweet potatoes)
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Drain the yams thoroughly and mash them in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Add in the brown sugar, milk, butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until everything is well combined and creamy.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and evenly spread it out. Top with mini marshmallows for that perfect sweet crust.
  5. Bake your casserole for 25-30 minutes, checking to ensure the marshmallows have turned golden brown.
