- 2 cans of yams (sweet potatoes)
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of mini marshmallows

- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Drain the yams thoroughly and mash them in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add in the brown sugar, milk, butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until everything is well combined and creamy.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and evenly spread it out. Top with mini marshmallows for that perfect sweet crust.
- Bake your casserole for 25-30 minutes, checking to ensure the marshmallows have turned golden brown.
