Description
A warm and hearty potato soup made easily in a crock pot, perfect for busy days.
Ingredients

- 1 bag (about 30 oz) frozen hash browns
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: sliced green onions, bacon bits, or extra cheese
Instructions
- Add frozen hash browns to the crock pot.
- Pour in the cream of chicken soup.
- Add chicken broth and stir to combine.
- Cut cream cheese into small cubes and add to the crock pot.
- Stir everything together until well combined.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, sauté some onions and garlic before adding them to the crock pot. Use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
