Description

A comforting and quick dish featuring succulent chicken and creamy buttered noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, bringing it to a boil.
  5. Add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, about 7-10 minutes.
  6. Drain excess liquid if necessary, then stir in the remaining butter until melted and creamy.
  7. Slice chicken and serve on top of noodles, garnished with chopped parsley.
