Description

A simple and delicious crockpot teriyaki chicken that is perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (optional)
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. If desired, add the broccoli florets on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the sauce and serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

Feel free to customize with low-sodium soy sauce or gluten-free teriyaki sauce. Add sesame seeds and green onions for garnish.
