  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add drained kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Stir thoroughly to combine.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
