- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- In your slow cooker, combine the browned beef, kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, bell pepper, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Stir everything well to ensure the ingredients are evenly mixed.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot, and enjoy!

Feel free to adjust the spices and ingredients based on your preference. This chili is excellent with cornbread or tortilla chips.
