Description

A quick and delicious meal featuring tender chicken in a creamy sauce with a delightful kick from banana peppers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup banana pepper rings (jarred or fresh)
  • 1 cup cream (heavy or coconut milk)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the banana pepper rings and sprinkle in the garlic powder; let it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in the cream and mix well, allowing it to simmer for 2-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, replace the chicken with tofu. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
