- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it in a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken, followed by dollops of cottage cheese and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
- Top with mozzarella cheese, ensuring it’s well-covered.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with garlic bread or a fresh garden salad. For added flavor, drizzle with balsamic glaze or top with fresh basil.
