- 1 large egg
- ½ cup almond flour or oat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- Optional toppings: everything bagel seasoning, grated cheese
Instructions
- Blend cottage cheese if using large curd for smoother texture.
- In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, egg, flour, baking powder, and salt to form sticky dough.
- Wet hands, divide dough into 4 pieces, shape into bagels.
- Line air fryer basket with parchment or liner and preheat to 350°F if needed.
- Place bagels in basket, spaced apart, and air fry at 350°F for 10–12 minutes until golden.
- Cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use almond flour for low-carb, oat flour for fiber. Add cinnamon for sweet or garlic and cheese for savory. Bagels freeze well and reheat perfectly in the air fryer.
