- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 1 stalk fresh lemongrass or 1 teaspoon dried lemongrass
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon dried orange peel or 1 strip fresh (optional)
- 2 cups water
- Raw honey, to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Add ginger, lemongrass, cinnamon stick, and orange peel to a small pot with 2 cups of water.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then lower heat and simmer uncovered for 10–12 minutes.
- Strain into a mug.
- Sweeten with raw honey if desired.
- Serve hot, or chill it for a refreshing iced version.
Notes
For best results, drink 15–30 minutes after meals to support digestion. You can also enjoy it warm in the morning or as a relaxing evening brew.
