Description

A comforting bowl of chili that’s perfect for any occasion, packed with rich flavors and satisfying heartiness.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cans (15 ounces each) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, and beef broth until combined.
  4. Add chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to integrate all the spices.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for at least 30 minutes to develop the flavors.
  6. Toss in the chopped bell pepper and continue to simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, and enjoy every spoonful!
