- Optional: 1/4 cup red grapes, halved
- Optional: 1/4 apple, finely diced
- Optional: 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- Optional: 1/8 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Open and drain the canned chicken thoroughly.
- Place the drained chicken into a mixing bowl and shred it with a fork.
- Add the mayonnaise to the chicken and stir until evenly coated.
- Mix in the chopped celery, sweet relish, and onion powder.
- If using optional ingredients, fold them in gently.
- Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
- Stir gently, ensuring the mixture remains creamy.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Freezing is possible, but some ingredients like celery and grapes may lose texture.
