Description

A delightful dish combining creamy Caesar dressing with tender chicken breasts and vibrant asparagus, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 pound asparagus spears (trimmed)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 lemon (cut into wedges for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the skillet from heat.
  4. Pour the Caesar dressing over each piece of chicken, ensuring they are well coated. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  5. Add the asparagus around the chicken in the skillet. Sprinkle garlic powder over the asparagus and optionally add extra Parmesan.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the asparagus is tender-crisp.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest briefly. For a finishing touch, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken and asparagus before serving.

Notes

Serve with a light salad or crusty bread for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
