Description
A delightful dish combining creamy Caesar dressing with tender chicken breasts and vibrant asparagus, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 pound asparagus spears (trimmed)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 lemon (cut into wedges for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the skillet from heat.
- Pour the Caesar dressing over each piece of chicken, ensuring they are well coated. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
- Add the asparagus around the chicken in the skillet. Sprinkle garlic powder over the asparagus and optionally add extra Parmesan.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the asparagus is tender-crisp.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest briefly. For a finishing touch, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken and asparagus before serving.
