Description

A delicious and healthy oven-baked recipe for boneless skinless chicken breasts that is quick to prepare and perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet with space between them for even cooking.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, Italian herbs, salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Mix until well blended.
  5. Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of each chicken breast.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 22-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Patting the chicken dry enhances browning and flavor. Let the chicken rest before slicing to maintain juiciness.
