- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp flax seeds
- 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
- 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- Optional: 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Optional: 1/4 tsp ground ginger
Instructions
- Lightly toast pumpkin and sunflower seeds in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes.
- Allow seeds to cool completely.
- Mix all seeds together in a bowl.
- Gently pulse in a spice grinder to improve absorption (do not grind into powder).
- Store mix in an airtight glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- To use, take 1 tablespoon daily in water, smoothies, yogurt, or meals.
- Optional: Soak 1 tablespoon of mix in warm water for 20-30 minutes and drink slowly for easier digestion.
Notes
