Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Lightly toast pumpkin and sunflower seeds in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Allow seeds to cool completely.
  3. Mix all seeds together in a bowl.
  4. Gently pulse in a spice grinder to improve absorption (do not grind into powder).
  5. Store mix in an airtight glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  6. To use, take 1 tablespoon daily in water, smoothies, yogurt, or meals.
  7. Optional: Soak 1 tablespoon of mix in warm water for 20-30 minutes and drink slowly for easier digestion.

Notes

Start with 1 tablespoon per day and increase gradually. Drink plenty of water to aid digestion. Store mix properly to maintain freshness.
