- 2 tbsp flax seeds
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
- 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Optional: ¼ tsp cinnamon
- Optional: 1 tsp ground ginger
- Optional: ½ tsp turmeric powder
Instructions
- Lightly roast pumpkin and sunflower seeds in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Let cool.
- Combine all seeds (including optional spices if using) in a spice grinder or blender.
- Pulse 2-3 times until a coarse mix forms do not grind into powder.
- Transfer the mix to a clean, airtight glass jar.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- Use 1 tbsp daily in smoothies, yogurt, or tea.
Notes
Start with 1 tbsp per day and increase slowly if needed. Mix can be customized for weight loss or gain by adjusting seed ratios. Stay hydrated and pair with a high-protein diet post-op.
