Description

This chia-flax bariatric seed drink might look simple, but it’s packed with digestive benefits and long-standing weight support. Learn the ingredients, how to make it properly, what to avoid, and how to fit it into your daily post-op or wellness routine.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground flaxseeds
  • 1012 oz filtered water
  • Optional: 1-2 tsp lemon juice
  • Optional: ½ tsp apple cider vinegar
  • Optional: ½ tsp psyllium husk (if accustomed to fiber)

Instructions

  1. Add all seeds to a mason jar or bottle.
  2. Pour in the water and stir or shake well.
  3. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight in the fridge.
  4. Drink it first thing in the morning, followed by another full glass of water.

Notes

Do not skip soaking the seeds to avoid bloating. Use only ground flaxseeds. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to help the fiber work effectively. Avoid drinking it late at night for best results.
