Description

A magical recipe that combines crunchy fried chicken with a creamy, spicy bang bang sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenderloins
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, season the buttermilk with salt and pepper. Allow the chicken tenderloins to soak in the buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Place the panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Dredge the soaked chicken tenderloins in the flour mixture, then dip them back in the buttermilk before coating with the panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and lime juice.
  7. Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the crispy fried chicken and serve hot!

Notes

Keep leftovers fresh in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best crispiness.
