Description

A creamy, protein-packed dessert made with just cottage cheese and frozen fruit—ready in minutes and perfect for a healthy treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 frozen banana (or frozen mango, strawberries, or fruit of choice)
  • Optional: 1 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
  • Optional: 1 tbsp cocoa powder or chocolate chips
  • Optional: 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend 1 cup cottage cheese with 1 frozen banana (or chosen fruit) in a high-speed blender until smooth and thick.
  2. Pour mixture into a small freezer-safe dish or loaf pan, spread evenly, and cover.
  3. Freeze for 2–3 hours, stirring once halfway through to keep texture creamy.
  4. Scoop into bowls and serve plain or with toppings like chopped nuts, honey, or berries.
  5. For firmer ice cream, freeze an extra 1–2 hours and let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For the smoothest texture, blend until no curds remain. Stir halfway through freezing to avoid ice crystals. Use full-fat cottage cheese for best creaminess.
